Technology Executive, Certified Leadership and Executive Coach

From Engineer to Executive Coach

I started as a software engineer and, over 30+ years at companies like Microsoft, Capital One, and FICO, worked my way up to senior executive roles.

I’ve led global teams, delivered complex programs, and navigated the pressure-cooker challenges that come with technology leadership.

For years, I thought I had to figure it all out myself.

Like many leaders, I leaned on mentors and formal leadership training. I thought that was enough. It got me far—but eventually, I hit a wall.

That moment came when I was promoted to lead a large global engineering organization—a scope I had never handled before. My manager said, “You’re a good leader. You’ll figure it out.” It was meant as encouragement, but I felt the weight of uncertainty.

That’s when I discovered the power of coaching.

Mentors Showed Me the Map. A Coach Helped Me Navigate It.

My mentors shared invaluable guidance—best practices, war stories, and industry context that helped me understand the road ahead. They gave me a strong foundation in technical and managerial leadership.

But coaching unlocked something different.

My coach didn’t give me answers. Instead, they created a space where I could reflect deeply, challenge limiting beliefs, and make decisions aligned with who I wanted to become as a leader. Coaching helped me build confidence, expand my executive presence, and lead with greater intention—especially during times of change and ambiguity.

The combination was transformative.

Mentorship gave me knowledge. Coaching helped me apply it with clarity, consistency, and authenticity.

Why This Matters For You

I coach mid-career and senior tech professionals who are asking:
“What’s next for me—and how do I stay relevant, engaged, and impactful as tech evolves faster than ever?”

Whether you’re:

  • Preparing for a bigger leadership role

  • Feeling stuck in a role that no longer fits

  • Or ready to make a bold, strategic career move

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

My Coaching Philosophy

My approach blends real-world leadership experience with coaching grounded in emotional intelligence, agile thinking, and the demands of today’s AI-driven workplace. I understand the pressure you’re under—because I’ve been there. And I know the power of having the right support to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

This is what I believe in:
